Time’s 50 Best Websites of 2012

By Stephanie Rebick | Posted on September 27th, 2012

Despite the fact that it’s only September, TIME Magazine has just published its annual best websites of the year list. Divided into ten categories like web tools, entertainment, news and shopping, TIME editors have selected sites that may not necessarily be household names but are innovate game changers in their particular field. While I’m not sure any of these sites will change your life, a few of my current favourites made the list like Longform — my go-to source for a roundup of the most compelling articles published on the web each day — and Prezi — the remarkable, web-based presentation software. I most enjoyed the picks in the ‘Quirky’ category which included a few fun surprises such as a web game based on the 1980s sitcom Perfect Strangers, and my personal favourite, Let Me Google That For You, a site designed to respond to people who ask you annoying questions instead of Googling the answers themselves.
